After working with Clavish on his last album 808 gang member Odzz teamed up with Yvng Monty to create an immersive collection of 10+ original compositions in the style of Clavish, Fredo, Mowgs,Nafe Smallz and Country Dons. With both members relying heavily on piano and vocals for their independent work, the two were able to use that to their advantage in creating this body of work. However, that’s just the tip of the iceberg as far as sound design goes, with most of the samples morphing into atmospheric, textural synth ideas. Throughout the pack you will hear sections where the two took a maximalist approach, with several layers of huge sounds, paired beside extremely stripped back sections where only one or two instruments are playing. This creates opportunities to use these compositions in a variety of different genres and situations.
